ANTENATAL CLINIC
Scheduled care through pregnancy, from the first visit to delivery planning.
Our antenatal clinic follows you through pregnancy with regular check-ups that track your health and your baby's growth. Each visit combines examination, the tests due at that stage, and time to ask questions.
What this includes
- Antenatal profile and booking visit
- Routine check-ups covering blood pressure, weight, urine and fundal height
- Obstetric ultrasound for dating, growth and position
- Iron, folate and other supplements dispensed on site
- Tetanus immunisation and malaria prevention in pregnancy
- Screening for anaemia, diabetes in pregnancy, HIV and syphilis
- Birth preparedness and danger-sign counselling
Before you come in
- Start antenatal care as early as possible, ideally in the first trimester.
- Carry your antenatal card to every visit.
- Come in immediately for bleeding, severe headache, reduced fetal movement or fluid loss.
